Gen-Probe (nucleic acid diagnostics) has launched a tender offer to buy all the outstanding shares, warrants, and convertible bonds of public molecular diagnostics company Innogenetics NV for $334mm (€215mm) in cash. Gen-Probe will pay $9.49 (a 7% premium) for each Innogenetics common share, or $293mm.
